Why I think my experience in the menswear business could be of help to you.
I am Anton Jenkins and I started my long and enjoyable career in Menswear as a trainee Manager at Hepworths at just 16 years old. Because of their amazing and thorough training I quickly progressed to become their youngest Branch Managers ever (in Bridgnorth). As their business evolved I became the Manager of the first ever Next For Men store in the UK (in Shrewsbury).
After a few years at Hepworths/Next I wanted to spread my wings and entered the wholesale menswear trade and progressed through the various roles. I was a Sales Agent, a Sales Representative, Sales Manager and ultimately Sales Director of various well known menswear brands (more info below). During the late 1980's whilst still working full time I also had my own menswear shops in Bridgnorth and Merry Hill called Pavilion, stocking brands like Van Gils, Matinique, GB Clothing and more. I also studied for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma.
At each level of my career in menswear I have worked with some fabulous teams, met some great people, and made good lifelong friends. I like to think that I have learned more at each level and picked up the best skills from these important colleagues.
This experience combined with qualifications , enthusiasm, innovation and energy, along with good reliable contacts, allows me to be able to help and support your business as a menswear consultant on flexible terms. I can work on a day rate, project rate or regular retainer. I also totally understand the need to confidentiality and discretion.

Douglas & Grahame UK Ltd.
Sales Director.
One of the UK and Ireland's leading menswear wholesale businesses established in 1924. Their portfolio of premium brands include Remus Uomo, Douglas, Wellington and Daniel Grahame.
In my time there, I was responsible for the profitability of the UK business and management of the sales teams and administration.
During my tenure we faced the start of Brexit and the subsequent economic challenges. Despite this we still we grew the business and I was proud to be part of the team that led to Remus Uomo winning Menswear Brand of the Year. We also opened the first stand alone Remus Uomo store in England.
